Rabbits For Adoption

We can have between 40-60 rabbits looking for homes. Not all of our rabbits go onto our website as we have many adopters looking for matches that have been through the adoption process. Rather than waiting and looking for rabbits on our site, we encourage you to begin the adoption process so that we can start looking for a suitable match for you.

Benny

Available

About Him:
Age: 8 months
Breed: Mini Lop
Gender: Male
Size: Small

Benny is a super sweet little boy with a soft spirit and fun loving and playful personality. He is a very easy going little boy who loves to explore and likes to check out every nook and cranny of the house. He loves being in the house free roam and is very well behaved, although keep cardboard and paper well of our sight or he will sniff it out for a cheeky munch! He likes to sit as a little baked loaf on top of his castle and watch over (and await treats coming past)! He loves his hay and any other grub he can get his cute little paws on. He is such an adorable happy wee boy who has coped through a lot. He is very submissive and would be a happy easy pairing for lots of buns, but ideally he needs a strong leader who can guide him and protect him.

Home Environment:
Indoor/Outdoors: Indoors, although would enjoy outdoor play time during better weather months
Kids: Yes he is good with kids so long as they respect him
Dogs: Yes he is fine around calmer dogs

The Dumped Buns:

The dumped buns are a recent welfare case that we captured and took in that were living in the grounds of an estate in poor conditions after being dumped and left to try and survive.

Bermuda

Adopted

Bermuda is an absolute sop of a boy who gave himself up willingly during the rescue mission. He just adores people and attention and gets lonely easily. He very much loves the cushy indoor lifestyle, I don't think we have ever seen a wee bun so appreciative of a blanket to snuggle on! He is a content, friendly boy who will sit for massages and rubs all day and loves exploring and following you around mooching. He loves to jump and sit up high to watch everything going past, this boy can leap 5ft with ease! He is extremely confident and not phased by anything, how he survived out in the wild we will never know as he has no prey instincts whatsoever. He loves kids and any human affection. He is very sweet with other buns and would love to have at least one other snuggle bun to live with, he would be fantastic for a nervous bunny to help improve their confidence. He would love a cosy house and happy family to live with forever. Due to him being a stray, we don't know how old he is or much info if he was born in the wild or one that was released but we estimate he is between 1-2 years old.
Picture

Bolivia

Adopted

Bolivia is a pretty little Polish bun who has been through a lot while living out in the dumped area. She is so gentle and sweet and had been very low in the pecking order so was saturated with urine and nips when she was caught. She was pregnant and already had some baby buns (one of which is Bruises), we really don't know just how many litters she has had. We believe she was born in the wild due to how young and nervous she was, we think she is no older than 1 year old. While at the rescue she has surrogated the little litter of 4 tiny babies and is the most wonderful natured mother, not defensive or grumpy at all. She has built up a lot of confidence while being at the rescue and now she trusts us she loves to come running for treats but isn't the 'sit for snuggles' kinda bun. We think she would easily build a relationship with her 'human' and would become a very friendly little girl. She could live indoors or outdoors so long as she has lots of space and other buns for company, it would be nice to see her in a trio or group as she has such a beautiful temperament. She wouldn't feel safe around dogs or cats as she has alert prey instincts.

Betha

Reserved

About Her:
Gender: Female
Breed: Dwarf Cross
Age: 1 year
Size: Dwarf/Small

Betha is a sweet precious little bun (pics don't do justice on how little she is!) and likes to get to know new people and places at her own pace. She has a gentle nature and will prefer to hide than lunge out if she is scared of something. She has a fun paced energy and loves doing whirlies, zoomies and binky jumps which is true to her name Betha - which means "full of life". She looks like an angel but she will wiggle her bum at you if she is caught being cheeky and nibbling the curtains in behind the couch. She adores her comfies, smooshing on her vetbed and fleece blankets and her Ikea doll bed is her favourite place to chill and relax (both on top of it and under it!). She has a submissive temperament and would be well suited with lots of buns, but her ideal partner would be a brave, confident bun who is also playful. She can be sound sensitive so doesn't really like bashing around but does get used to things quite quickly if her routine stays the same.

Home Environment:
Indoors/Outoors: Either, although she would prefer somewhere fully enclosed as she isn't a fan of the wind or rain. She also loves snoozing on the couch with you!
Kids: She would be happy around patient, older children who are calm and gentle around her.
Dogs: No, she is timid and nervous around dogs.

Bao

Available

About Him:
Gender - Male
Breed - Mini Lop
Age - 1 year old

Bao is a tiny little scamp of a boy who loves sneaking into little places he shouldn't and mischief making. He is very active and playful and loves his foraging snuffle mat. He loves to perch on top of his castle which gives him a better view around him. Unfortunately he has poor eyesight which can make him startled and may grunt in displeasure so care needs to be taken with how you interact with him. He comes running to the sound of the treat bag and will scamper to try and snatch the bag away, cheeky monkey! He needs a patient and understanding bun friend to put up with his scampish ways and snuggle him. He loves back rubs, head rubs and floor snuggles and racing up and down the hallway. He needs a home with lots of space and lots of enrichment, tunnels are a big hit!

Home Environment:
Indoor/Outdoor: This wee man would be happy in either however extra care needs to be taken with him outdoors with bright light and more grooming (no grass type enclosures due to his breed).
Kids: No children for this wee dude!
Dogs: He would be ok with calm natured dogs that are used to being in a rabbit household. He is also fine with cats.
Picture

Blaw

Available

About Him:
Gender - Male
Breed - Lion Lop
Age - 1.5 years old

Blaw, meaning "gentle" is just that, a soft gentle natured boy with a beautiful kind heart. He has the kindest eyes and is grateful for all the little things. Sadly this little boy has had 5 homes in his first year and we want to make sure he gets his final and forever home, therefore we would like him to be adopted by a previous adopter. He has been prone to GI stasis which has been investigated and is linked to an unsettling in routine and environment rather than a health concern so it is important to be vigilant with his behaviour and have the appropriate action on call. He adores affection and will gladly lie on your feet and purr the afternoon away while he gets stroked and stroked. He also loves sitting on the windowsill and watching the world go by, even saying hello to the postman! He gets very lonely and will eat lots of hay while you sit with him but doesn't like to be left alone for long periods, being bonded with a bunny buddy will fix this! He needs a playful strong minded companion that can take the lead with him.

Home Environment:
Indoor/Outdoors: He must be housed indoors in the house so that a close eye can be kept on his behaviour
Kids: Yes he is happy around all humans and very confident
Dogs: Yes he is happy around dogs

About Him:
Gender: Male
Breed: Mini Lop
Age: 10 months old
Size: Small

Bebinn is a busy little bee and very active and nosy, he loves exploring and checking everything out (might even give it all a wee chin and boop too!). He is confident in baby terms but he can be anxious of loud or new sounds. He does one hundred mile an hour zoomies and huge binkies.
Picture

Bancha

Adopted

About Her:

Gender: Female
Age: Estimated 2-3 years
Breed: Mini Rex
Size: Small

Bancha is not only striking but super smart! She is a princess and loves a snuggle and playing in her tunnels. She has a really easy going personality and is content playing with her toys and flopping on her bunny bed. She is not destructive, but does love digging and burrowing in her litter tray. She is very food motivated and will climb all over you for food and treats, her favourite being the lucrative barley ring! She can be cautious but that doesn't stop her exploring and at night she explores every inch of the place so quietly! This little darling is a joy to spend time with and we are all very smitten with her, she is wise and has a very sad past and story yet is so forgiving of humans. She would love a confident strong minded bunny companion that could be her play partner.

Home Environment:
Indoors/Outdoors: This gal looooves being indoors and hates the elements, she is a pampered princess who has always had to live outside yet wants nothing more than a cosy house with some companions.
Kids: Patient understanding older children would be good with her.
Dogs: She is very nervous around dogs so she wouldn't be happy in a dog home.

Bandit

Available

About Him:
Gender: Male
Breed: Giant Continental
Age: 5 months old
Size: Giant

Bandit is a happy, sweet big lad who likes safety where he knows and loves a big binky. While he enjoys exploring in the garden, if he hears a sound he is unsure of, he will run back into the house back to his safe space (he gets very spooked by wind). He is friendly and confident in himself and adores head rubs. He likes to follow you if he senses treats may be on the cards and will climb up your legs to get his paws on any grub going. He is unsure around dogs and cannot be in a home with young children. He would be a great match for a more chilled bun and a quiet home he can free roam and explore, chew and play at his leisure. He is super food motivated, loves his hay and will thank you by giving you kisses when he is content.

Please note, Bandit is a giant continental which means he will grow to be an extremely large rabbit - a small dog like size (8kg+). This means he cannot be shut away and needs to have free roam of at least one room at all times and a house to barge about in. He is a very active youngster who loves to explore. Giant rabbits are often destructive therefore measures need to be taken to ensure the place is safe and that he has lots of toys and things to chew. He particularly adores apple branches and willow balls.

Bitsy

About Her:
Gender: Female
Age: 1 year
Breed: Mini Lop
Size: Tiny dwarf - under 1.5kg

Bitsy is itsy bitsy tiny winy! What this little girl lacks in size, she makes up for in spirit! She needs a patient understanding parent who can give her the abundance of space that she needs as she gets easily territorial and distressed if cooped in. She likes to explore and do her own thing and race around a million miles an hour doing zoomies and binkies, just dont get in her way! She is unsure of new people and takes time to build trust with you, you cant push yourself on her but give her time instead to come to you. She loves a death flop which will give you a serious heart attack but is oh so cute! She doesn't enjoy human touch but prefers playing and doing games, puzzles and would love to do clicker training. She needs a secure, stable home and a minimum of 2 other rabbits to be bonded to that will make her feel less threatened, this will help her feel safe and secure and give her the reassurance that she needs, they must be confident companions used to a defensive bun. In the right home with the right person and bunnies, she would really come into her own and start to relax more. At the moment she is still very defensive and struggles with new routines.

Must be an experienced owner for us to consider matching with Bitsy.

Home environment:
Children: No, Bitsy and children are not compatible!
Dog/cats: Nope! She is so insecure, she would become defensive and aggressive if kept near a dog or cat.

Becky

Adopted

About Her:
Gender: Female
Age: 4 years old
Breed: Mix
Size: Small

Sweet, darling Becky. She is the 'girl (bun) next door', - happy, pretty, chilled and easy going. No trouble, always precious. She has a gentle nature and even when frustrated, she will try to nudge you out the way gently. She is submissive with other buns and is always friendly and engaging when one approaches her enclosure. She sadly lost her sister when she was younger and is seeking out company, she grooms her little teddy every day. She likes things quiet and calm but she isn't nervous, just settled in her middle age and happiest when relaxing at her own pace. She loves when you sit with her and massage her all over, she will loaf and purr away. Her favourite food is - hay! She will choose it above anything, even treats/herbs/grass/pellets.

Home Environment:
Cats: Yes
Dogs: Yes
Children: 10+
Indoor/Outdoor: She is content in both, she loves comfy cosy though - her blanket on top of her castle is her favourite place to sleep and she keeps her room very tidy!
Picture

Berrie

Adopted

About Her:
Gender: Female
Age: 1 year old
Breed: Wild Mix Lionhead
Size: Medium

Berrie was brought into us with her two sisters when they were babies who have now found forever homes. Berrie went out to live as an end of life foster companion for a bun who has now passed so Berrie has come back to us to find her forever home. We would happily bond her with one of our single buns (would have to be a compatible & confident bun) if it gets her the chance to a forever home sooner.

Berrie is a beautiful little lionhead girl with the biggest most magical brown eyes. She can be timid at first and takes a while to adjust and settle in but once she does her sweet personality is quickly seen. She is very food motivated and will happily take food from you and put her tiny little paws up on your knee to beg for a treat. She likes tunnels and her treat ball to keep her busy during the day. She loves burrowing into the hay and making little tunnels in it. She is extremely submissive so would be a great companion for *any* temperament type however she will need a quiet, patient and understanding home that will allow her to take her time to build up trust. Either an indoor or outdoor home would suit her (she does prefer being sheltered) but ideally she needs at least one other confident rabbit companion, even more would be preferable (trio/group), she would be a great addition. She is very young and a very healthy mix breed and excellent hay eater. She isn't a fan of dog/cats or children, she likes things quiet and peaceful.

Home Environment:
Indoors/Outdoors: Either (must be sheltered style)
Cats: No
Dogs: No
Children: No

About Him
Gender: Male
Breed: Lionhead

Bunker is a cheeky wee chappy who arrived very timid and anxious with a sad story but has tranformed into a happy, friendly wee chap who loves to climb like a cat! He loves jumping up perching up high, his favourite position is sitting on the back of the couch watching TV with you. He can be startled easily by loud noises and is very sound sensitive so no young children for him! He needs a kind, patient and understanding human that allows him to do as he pleases and choose his interactions and he will bond with you in his own time. He is a little grubber and is a big fan of the "snatch a treat and run to a safe space to munch it in peace". He loves playing in his tunnels and doing rolls on his vet bed. He also enjoys digging in a box of tissue paper and flopping in it.

Babka

Reserved

About Her:
Gender: Female
Breed: Mini Lop
Age: 4 years
Size: Small (under 2kg)

Babka is an adorable, gentle girl with such a loveable soul. She enjoys company and will climb on you for a cuddle. She is always so content, no matter where she is or what she is doing. She is calm, confident and stable and would make such an excellent leader for a bun or two. She has always been in a pair or trio as the nurturing, leader type but sadly lost her last companion so found her way to us to find bunny love again. She has travelled across seas and settles into new places quickly with ease, she isn't phased by new people or places. She flops while you hoover, snuggles with you while you sleep and purrs with her head pressed against yours. She is always happy to see you and will nuzzle in for head rubs and ear rubs and all the snuggles you can give her. An absolutely fantastic hay eater, the only concern she will give you is the odd death flop!

Home Environment:

Dogs/Cats: Yes, will happily approach and engage with a dog, not phased!
Children: Yes, but as always - please respect her (she isn't a doll)
In/Out: She enjoys a potter around the garden but this girl is a house bun through and through and just loves to be in nosying around you and sitting beside you on the couch.

Bertone

Adopted

About Her:
Gender: Female
Breed: Dwarf Lop
Age: 2 years
Size: Medium - Large (under 3kg)

Personality:
Bertone is a big doggy bun who loves to stomp about the house like she owns it! She is a real diva who knows what she wants and will quickly let you know. She is very food motivated and loves her hay and grub. She is super friendly and loves head rubs and ear rubs but has strong opinions about her 4 paws being firmly on the ground. She is not phased by kids or dogs or much really! She is confident but can be quite lazy. She does not like being cooped up / boxed in a small space and this makes her defensive and territorial, therefore if indoors she would need to be free roam in at least 1 room. She would make a great companion for a super active bunny who can encourage her to get moving and she can chill them out. She wants to be head rubbed on demand and have a cosy castle and rug to lounge on, is that too much to ask?

Home Environment:
Dogs - Yes
Cats - Yes
Kids - Yes
Indoor/Outdoors - Either (if outdoors it would need to be a sheltered 'indoor style' enclosure as she isn't a fan of the elements)
Picture

Ballot

Adopted

About Him:
Gender: Male
Age: approx 6 years old
Breed: Havana Mix
Size: Large (over 3kg)

Personality:
Ballot is a chunk of a hunk! He is super soft and curious who ultimately likes his home comforts and his lazy days. He enjoys pottering around the house and garden and his favourite spot is to perch up high on his balcony and watch over everything. He loves flopping in the sunshine and on his vetbed rug. He is nosy and inquisitive and likes people but isn't a big snuggler. He prefers to nosy around and nudge you for a treat. He is a confident boy who would be a great companion for a bossy or nervous bun. Sadly he has been bereaved by 3 previous companions and found his way to us to meet a new love. He could be bonded into a group or into a pair to make a trio, if they were the right fit. He absolutely loves grazing on the grass so would be nice if he could have some garden playtime.

Home Environment:
Ballot enjoys being both indoors and outdoors so long as he has the freedom to enjoy and company of his own kind. He is used to dogs and cats and isn't anxious. He would love a family to spend the rest of his days with.
Picture

Bugatti

Adopted

  About Him:
Gender: Male
Age: 1 year old
Breed: English Spot
Size: Medium

Personality:
Bugatti is a lovely gentle lad with a stunning physique. Named after his racing stripe along his back, he is an active and playful boy and absolutely striking! He is a very content bun who likes company and relaxing in the afternoon but does his big zoomies and laps around the garden in the mornings and evenings. He isn't destructive but enjoys a dig and roll in the flower beds. Bugatti is shy at first with new people but finds confidence in routine and having a companion (he is grieving the loss of his buddy so feeling a little lonely and withdrawn at first). Once he trusts you and feels comfortable he loves head rubs and cheek rubs and affection.

Home Environment:
Bugatti loves the big outdoors and in particular his runaround tunnels he can sprint through.  He likes children if they are used to interacting properly with bunnies and will be patient in building a bond with him.
Picture

Barbarita

Adopted

About Her:
Gender: Female
Age: 9 Months old
Breed: Mix
Size: Medium

Personality:
Barbarita is a young, energetic girl who bursts with the hopes of going on adventures and reaching big heights with her bouncing binkies. This girl is a 'real rabbit' who loves to show off her rabbit skills which include using her big long back legs to stretch up and jump high heights, using her teeth to gnaw willow branches to shreds and her dainty little paws to dig burrows in her litter tray. She settles into new environments quite quickly and prefers things at a manageable level (not too many new people at once) so that she can explore at her pace. She craves space to run and jump and hates to be cooped up, she gets very miserable when she is enclosed. She has a bold personality which in the right home will become even more confident and bolshy with another bun. She would be good for a bun who needs company on their exploration outdoors and needs help to become more "rabbity". She likes to nose bump you and nudge you out of the way if you are cleaning her bedroom but likes to be nosy and interact with you, she just doesn't sit long enough for head rubs and strokes.

Home Environment:
Barbarita is happiest when she is outside jumping and skipping in the cold air. She likes a natural environment with things to play with and chew and dig and places to jump up onto. She is a very active girl so needs tons of space. She does not like cats or dogs but is ok with older, calm children.
Picture

Breyton

Adopted

About Him:
Gender: Male
Age: 5 Years
Breed: Dwarf Lop
Size: Medium

Personality:
Breyton is a super doppy, loveable lad who really wants to eat, chill, stroke, repeat. He would make a fantastic laid back lover for an energetic bun or two and would make a confident leader. He loves a fuss and will lay for hours to be massaged from nose to tail. He is self assured and bossy and will decide where he wants to lay all afternoon to sleep. He is just a total sook and a pampered boy! He has had some weeping of his tear ducts so needs regular eye drops and may need his tear ducts flushed again. He is a fab eater and always mooching along the floor for things that have been dropped to snarfle.

Home Environment:
He is happy and calm around children so long as they let him sleep when he wants to. He barges his way past dogs and will even shove the dog out the way! So if he was in a home with dogs it would need to be one used to rabbits and also very placid (non reactive). He wants to live as in indoor free roam pampered boy with lots of radiators to snuggle against and windows to look out of.

Banzai

Adopted

About Her:
Gender: Female
Age: 5 Years
Breed: Mix
Size: Medium

Personality:
Banzai is a very quiet, gentle girl who craves company. She is a very neat and tidy girl who never poops in her bed and loves to dig herself a comfy nest in her bedding to snooze in. She has recently discovered the wonders of carpet and adores flopping on it. She doesn't like change very much or moving to new places and takes a while to settle in. She has a submissive nature and would very much thrive in a trio/group. She is very lazy and has problems with her weight so needs an active buddy to get her moving and give her confidence to explore.

Home Environment:
Indoor/Outdoor: Either (but would love somewhere comfy cosy! She loves carpet)
Dogs: Yes
Cats: Yes
Kids: Older kids yes (not young children)

Braidy

Status: Adopted

About Her:
Gender: Female
Age: Approx 2-3 years (no certainty)
Breed: Lionhead
Size: Medium

Personality:
Braidy is a sweet little baby who can be anxious of new people and new places. Once she feels safe and gets to know you, she will shove her fluffy wee head under your hand for nose scratches and head rubs and will purr away. She likes to play with plastic keys and stacking cups but isn't very chewy with branches or chew toys. She will always prefer to run away and hide instead of confront you if she is unsure. When she trusts you, she will always be there waiting for you in the morning waiting for strokes and treats. She likes to meerkat and wait under the fridge incase some herbs may fall her way. She isn't a fan of wooden floors and prefers rugs under foot to binky on. She would be a good bun for an inexperienced owner who has a confident bun needing a buddy to comfort and play with. She is a very good hay eater and enjoys all types of hays and grasses (even the rubbish stuff she will eat!)

Home Environment:
Braidy would like to live as an indoor bunny, although she enjoys outdoor play time so long as the weather is nice. Her fur doesn't require any additional grooming needs although a wee skirt trim every now and again benefits her so that hay doesn't get stuck in her skirt.  She cannot be in a home with children or dogs.

Bradley is such a lovely big confident guy who loves a chilled out, easy going life. He is a laid back. friendly lad who loves to snuggle and flop all day and leads a very chilled out lifestyle. He loves a nose scratch and ear rub  and is not phased, he will happily make you climb over him as he lies flopped asleep. He is looking for a home to plod about at his slow pace and enjoy home comforts. He hasn't been a good hay eater since being with us but absolutely loves grazing on the grass. He needs a stable bunny companion who will enjoy a relaxed life with him, he would be happy with either an older companion or another laid back bun. It would be good for him to be bonded with a good hay eater to help continue to improve his diet. He enjoys being both indoors and outdoors and is happy and content around dogs. He wouldn't be happy in a home with boisterous young children as he can get a bit grumpy if tired and pestered.

Bayleef

Status: Adopted

About Her:
Gender: Female
Age: 1 Year
Breed: Dwarf Lop
Size: Small (under 2kg)

Personality:
Bayleef is a pretty little girl with grey freckles who loves a flop and snuggle. She is a sweet natured, gentle girl with a calm and friendly personality. She enjoys begging for head rubs and snuggling on her vetbed or perched on top of her little castle watching things around her. She can be unsure of new people but doesn't take long to warm to you and once she does she is a perfect little angel. She is confident around dogs and doesn't mind childen so long as they respect her space and body language if she is unsure. She loves being in the house around her humans and although she enjoys some grass binky time, would prefer to live in the house with cosy comforts. She isn't destructive although does like a romp in her digging box as most little ladies do. She is playful but not a crazy active bun. She would be suited to many home types and many various bunny personalities.

Beddingfield

Status: Adopted

About Him:
Gender: Male
Age: 9 months
Breed: French Lop
Size: Very large breed/giant (6kg)

Personality:
Beddingfield is a big lad with big demands! Giant breeds are not for the faint hearted (not that any bunnies really are....) and he is no exception. Although he is small for a giant and is not yet fully grown, he is still not for the inexperienced bunny human. From the minute he sees you he likes to charge over full speed and demand a head rub, cheek rub, ear rub, every rub. Depending on his mood at the time, you never know what side of him you will get. He is bolshy and brave, very confident and knows what he wants, he isn't easily phased by things. If he wants to hop off to explore, he will. He is super nosy and likes to figure out things on his own, even if that means being a bit clumsy. He is very friendly if you are in tune with him but his body language is easily misunderstood and needs someone patient and not new to rabbits or large buns as he *can* bite (not nip, bite). He enjoys the company of people, dogs and cats, he is very needy for attention but cannot be in a home with young children as he doesn't know his own strength and can be scary for a young child when he charges. He is a confident and dominant boy so would be well matched to a submissive or shy bunny.

NB: Please do NOT enquire about Beddingfield if you have young children or are considering having children in the near future. Beddingfield will go to a prospective home on a trial basis first before an adoption can take place, due to his complex behavioural needs.

Beatrix

Status: Adopted

Gender: Female
Age: Unknown (estimated 1-3 years)
Breed: Mix

This is Beatrix, she is a young girl who sadly lost her bonded companion and would like more soon! She is extremely intelligent and active, she loves to explore and loves tunnels. She loves to dig and makes amazing burrows in her bedding. She is unsure of new people but once trust and a bond is built she loves to climb on your knee for treats and loves head rubs. She can work her way through any puzzle and is always one step ahead of us humans! She is very food motivated and likes to do tricks and games for her small amount of pellets. She is a small lean whippet of a bun who loves to play but has been more withdrawn than her usual self since losing her bonded mate. She is a great hay eater and health wise is tip top, a very hardy young girl who could easily play outside all day if you let her. She is not a big fan of noisy children or hoovers but likes chasing the birds and doing the most humongous binkies like you've never seen. She keeps herself immaculately clean, like a cat she is always cleaning herself and her little paws. She has incredible big eyes and eyelashes and dainty little paws. She would be happiest in a spacious outdoor/natural set up and would be a good match for lots of bun types m/f. She has an active personality which would be fab for a lazy but confident bun.
