Foraging Class 1st July 2024 - Beginners Guide to Foraging

Come along on Monday 1st July for an evening in the Lanarkshire countryside with other animal lovers and learn the basics every forager needs to know to get started on feeding their animals a wild natural diet.
This class is suited to a beginners level and those who have never foraged before, although anyone of any level experience is welcome. The walk itself is beginner friendly and accessible for those of all walking abilities.
Included:
Walk along a nature trail and learn about Spring time plants available at this time of year to forage for your animals. We will discuss how to identify the plant, where to find the plant, how to dry and store the plant safely and what benefits there are to feeding the plant.
A set of plant identification cards to take home.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Please bring a canvas cotton or linen bag, and garden scissors to collect forage.
Parking available.
A ticket is required for each person attending (1 ticket = 1 person).
Refund policy: tickets are non refundable but are transferable to another person.
