Foraging Class 18th May 2024 - Umbells
Come along on Saturday 18th May and enjoy an afternoon in the Lanarkshire countryside with other bunny parents and learn about foraging for your rabbits and what benefits there are to feeding plants as part of a wild natural diet.
This class is suited to an advanced level and those with some general plant / foraging knowledge.
Included:
Walk along a nature trail in South Lanarkshire and learn about Spring time plants available at this time of year to forage for your rabbits. We will discuss how to identify the plant, where to find the plant, how to dry and store the plant safely and what benefits there are to feeding the plant.
A set of plant identification cards to take home.
T&C's:
This foraging walk is suited to ADVANCED foragers as these plants we will discuss are plants which can be wrongly identified and dangerous if gotten wrong. We will be taking a closer look at members of the carrot family and various umbel plants.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Please bring a canvas cotton or linen bag, and garden snippers to collect forage.
Parking available.
A ticket is required for each person attending (1 ticket = 1 person).
Refund policy: tickets are non refundable but are transferable to another person.
