Tasty yarrow grown, picked and dried straight here at the rescue from Summer 2023.
Yarrow is a herbaceous plant with wispy, feathery foliage, which superficially resembles the wild carrot. It has pretty umbel delicate flowers. Yarrow is used abundantly in herbal medicine and has many medicinal benefits and health properties. Yarrow is particularly helpful for boosting the immune system for the digestive tract and is great for rabbits with sensitive digestion. It is also used in treating Neurological Conditions, so can be fed regularly to buns who suffer with EC symptoms. This is not only a very tasty treat for your bunnies but also extremely good for them!
