The phone rings.... there's a bunny been spotted in a nearby village at the side of the road. Another little dumped lop without a single survival instinct.
The passer by catches her, wide eyed and timid. She's shivering, soaking wet and has no fight. The person takes her home, dries her off and warms her up. Kindly dropping her off the following day to the rescue.
We welcomed this little ray of sunshine with us, a gentle and timid little (likely ex breeder) young female. Put on pregnancy watch, given food, a safe place to relax, and a name for her new beginning: Bunshine.
