About Them: Gender: Mother & Son Age: 3 & 2 years Breed: Mini Lop Size: Small (under 2kg)
Personalities: This little playful pair love to get involved in everything exciting especially if it involves food and treats! They love finding and foraging and playing puzzle games to find their treats. They are a very adorable pair who enjoy human interaction, especially Bindi.
Bindi is the mother and bigger of the two, she is the boss and likes to keep her little son in check if he is being cheeky. She loves head and cheek rubs and begging for attention, she is the most confident and human focused. She loves to explore and isn't shy or bothered by loud sounds.
Buck is her little son and is a tiny tote. He is the more shy and anxious one especially with new people and places but once he settles and gets to know you he is a super friendly little chap. He has a cheeky little side and likes to squeeze his way into small spaces and make you think he has gotten lost and then binky when you find him.
Indoors: This pair would love to be free roam house buns where they can play all day.
Children: Yes, this pair are ok with children so long as they are old enough to respect their space and boundaries as Buck doesn't like to be forced to be interacted with.
Dogs: Yes both are ok around dogs so long as the dog is well behaved around them.
Special Requirements: Being mini lops, they will need regular teeth and ear checks at the vets. They will also need to stick with a specific diet as they have more sensitive digestive systems and cannot cope with eating any veggies or lots of fresh grass.
Brighton & Brisbane
Gender: Male & Female Age: Approx 2 years old Breed: Harlequin & Lionhead Mix
Brighton & Brisbane are a male and female pair who we have all been smitten with from the moment we met them. Both are amazing eaters and love their hay. They are a very friendly, young, happy pair of bunnies who love being indoors and are happy around dogs, cats and children. Such a joyful pair, not a bad bone in either of their body. We could snuggle them both all day!
Brisbane is a lion lop mix female and she is the boss of the two. She is extremely friendly and loves to be stroked and rubbed all over. She comes craving attention and will sit beside you and enjoys human company. She is laid back and chilled but enjoys her willow balls and searching for treats. She isn't phased by anything at all, she is very confident and settles into new places right away. She is a doggy like bun and very loving and gentle.
Brighton is a harlequin male with incredible heterochromia eyes (half brown, half blue). He is a very loveable, sweet boy who loves head rubs and is also extremely friendly and loves people. He is playful and copies his loving bunwife and adores her. He loves his tunnels and does so many binkies. He loves to lie beside you and purrs away while you rub his cheeks.
Bold & Brass
Gender: Male & Female Age: 1 Year old Breed: Silver Marten Mix Size: Medium (Under 3kg) Personalities: Bold & Brass are such a stunning, striking pair of buns who make a big impression to the real rabbit lovers out there. They are real, regal buns and have brilliant personalities. True to their names, they are a confident pair who like to explore their surroundings. They are very playful and enjoy all types of enrichment, especially digging boxes and willow balls! This pair could be bonded to another bun or pair so long as they were submissive as Brass would make a fantastic group leader. They are fantastic hay eaters and they always delight us with perfect big golden poops we rabbit people dream of!
Bold is a gorgeous boy who can be sensitive at first while he gets to know you but the way to this boys heart is certainly through his tummy, he will come running for a treat as soon as he gets a whiff or hears the treat box. He likes to binky, climb up onto his hides and race through his tunnels.
Brass is a confident, bolshy girl who takes charge of everyone including Bold and shows him the ropes and keeps him safe. She is always first to investigate and come running to see you and beg for a head rub or pinch a treat from your pocket. She is extremely intelligent and a true Alpha bun. She likes to roll around in her digging box and try to snatch every strand of grass she can get her paws on.
Outdoor - This pair prefer an outdoor style environment, they do NOT enjoy being indoors in a house and do not like to be cooped up in a puppy pen as they need lots more space and the ability to display their natural behaviours safely. They need a big outdoor enclosure that they can truly enjoy and explore all day and night.
Children - these girls would be happy in a family with children but equally would be happy in a single human household.
Dogs - yes both are absolutely fine with dogs and are happy around them (these two are definitely the boss!)
This pair like to have lots of enrichment or they get easily bored and destructive. They need lots of toys!
Two happy healthy bunnies with no additional needs other than a human who can fill their hay racks up multiple times a day and give them lots of willow toys and branches to chew and gnaw on!
Belia & Bornio
Gender: Male & Female Age: 2 years old Breeds: Lop and Harlequin
A very romantic husbun and bunwife, this pair love to spend lots of time together and snuggle up together. They compliment each other so well and bring out the good in each other and positive qualities. This pair would be perfectly suited to a laid back, chilled out home where their isn't too much expected of them if they want a snuggle lazy day or two. They love human interaction and would enjoy and be comfortable in a busy home. They would also be great to add to, to make a trio or group with a submissive bunny or shy pair.
Bornio is the loveable rogue who wants attention and head rubs non stop, he likes to shove his head under your hand to be stroked. He likes to explore and he is the confident, dominant one of the two. He cares for his precious bunwife but does also tell her off if she is being super lazy. He is one of the most laid back, chilled out and friendliest bunnies ever and just isn't phased by anything at all. He adores affection and exploring.
Belia is a lazy big girl who likes to plod around and nibble at chew toys, have a flop and snooze the afternoon away. She isn't anxious or nervous but quite independant, she likes Bornio to take the limelight and steal all of the human attention. She has a very quiet gentle nature and is easy going, she likes snoozing and playing in her tunnels.
Ideal Home Environment:
Indoor (with outdoor accesss): This pair are happy and content both indoors and out but they love human affection so would be great as house buns. We would like if they could still get some outdoor playtime if possible as they love binkying and flopping out when the weather is nice. Children: Both are good around children and Bornio likes to be in amongst the hustle and bustle of things. Belia would prefer children who are respectful of her space and boundaries if she is not wanting to interact. Dogs: Both buns are absolutely fine and comfortable around dogs.
Both buns are great hay eaters (the BEST hay eaters) however Belia being quite lazy is prone to weight gain so you have to be careful with her diet that she is not getting too many treats. Belia also being a lop needs her ears regularly checked as lops are prone to ear wax build up.
Bethany & Bridget
Gender: Females Age: 5 years old Breed: Mixed harlequin / dutch mix
Such a dream team, this pair of girlys really love each other and doing adventures together. Both girls love willow toys, branches and having things to climb and hop up onto.
Bridget is the big sister and is the confident, bolshy one who likes human affection, attention and checking everything out. She likes head rubs, climbing on you and chinning things.
Bethany is the smaller sister who likes to binky about, explore and nose bump. She is more apprehensive and follows Bridgets lead but once she gets to know you she will hop up onto your knee. She likes playing with her toys, tunnels and would enjoy clicker training!
Ideal Home Environment:
Outdoor - This pair prefer an outdoor style environment as they have always enjoyed playing in the garden their whole life and enjoy the outdoor atmosphere.
Families - these girls would be happy in a mixed age family with older children and teenagers. They would enjoy having multiple people in the household to get to know and bribe for treats! They do not like young children or boisterous children.
Dogs - yes both have grown up with dogs and are happy around them.
This pair are super content and would be happy in many home types. They enjoy being interacted with and having places to both explore and snooze. They are stable in temperaments and very relaxed in new environments.
Neither girls have any special requirements and should be encouraged to continue to eat lots of hay and be fed a good natural diet. Bethany is prone to hair loss along her back when she moves environments however after investigations there is no known cause for this and does not cause her any distress.
Blanca & Bandana
Gender: Females (sisters) Age: 2 years Breed: English Lionheads
We absolutely love this wonderful pair of sisters! Sadly they have now been waiting 9 months with us for their forever home and we cannot understand why! They are such a fab, healthy, active and inquisitive pair who enjoy company and begging non stop for any food they can get their paws on. They have a brilliant energy and big personalities, anyone would be delighted to welcome them into their home and garden. They are so intune with nature and display lots of fun, 'real' rabbit behaviours, there will not be a dull moment around with this fun tag team.
Bandana is the uppy big sister who likes to take charge and send her sister out to survey the situation and check things out for her. She loves to learn tricks and is extremely intelligent, she can work things out in seconds.
Blanca is the cheeky helicopter sister who gets kept in check by her sister, she is super nosy and brave and loves her head rubs. She has been found regularly steal treats out of pockets and run off binkying.
Ideal Home Criteria:
Outdoor - this pair love being out in the fresh air and like to display lots of natural behaviours like zoomies, binkies and digging. They like to gnaw and like having lots of space so wouldn't be suited to an indoor home.
Kids - yes both are absolutely fine with children.
Dogs/Cats - neither are big fans of cats or dogs however we feel with the right temperament and introduction the girls could get used to their presence (never interacting directly with them), also depends on the set up as if the enclosure was more enclosed and sheltered they would be able to hide out of sight if they are unsure.
This pair would be suited to most outdoor homes with families and would be good for first time bun parents.
Both girls are in excellent health but need a really safe bunny proofed enclosure as they are extremely intelligent and can be escape artists. They also need lots of enrichment to keep them busy like branches and a digging box.
Beauty & Beasty
Gender: Brother & Sister Age: 9 years old Breed: Silver Martens
THIS PAIR HAVE NOW BEEN WITH US ALMOST 1 YEAR IN RESCUE WAITING FOR A RETIREMENT HOME. ALL THEY WANT IS A QUIET SPACE TO PLAY AND DO THEIR THING. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS PAIR IF YOU CAN OFFER A QUIET OUTDOOR HOME FOR THEM WITH LOTS OF SPACE. This utterly gorgeous pair of Silver Martens have sadly come into us after living their whole life together in a loving home. They are now needing their retirement home to enjoy for the rest of their days. They are set in their ways and like their routine, both like things quiet and need a patient and understanding home.
Beauty is the more inquisitive and confident of the two, she is cautious at first until she settles in but then enjoys exploring and playing with her toys. She can be stubborn and when she wants to go somewhere she will be hopping off there but will soon hop back to you for treats and food if she hears a rustle.
Beasty is a very nervous and timid boy who likes to potter about in his own time. He is unsure in new environments and needs to have hides and bolt holes he can hide in until he feels safe. He is a very gentle and sweet boy who needs someone to understand his boundaries and limitations and that he enjoys his own space.
Ideal Home Criteria:
Outdoor - both buns have lived outside all of their lives and do not enjoy the busy indoor life. They would like a quiet safe space to call their own, an outdoor / outbuilding type enclosure.
No children - neither would cope well with too much excitement.
No dogs - both bunnies feel threatened by dogs
A quiet retirement home with the ability to relax and be themselves.
Both are in excellent health (you would never know how old these two are!) but an eye needs to be kept to continually push them eating enough hay. They are perfect specimens of their breed, they are stunning and have great body condition and health.
