About
Age: Born July 2022
Breed: Harlequin Lop Mix
Size: Will be medium once fully grown
I am a very sweet, playful and intuitive bun and the nurturing one of my siblings. I am always snuggling with one of the others, or in a little pile up cuddle. I adore booping and investigating and munching my hay. My adorable little dark nose gives me the nickname of "little fawn", I'm always told I'm such a pretty girl. I was hand reared by the rescue along with my other siblings.
I am still young and still learning!

Buckthorn along with some of her other siblings had a respiratory infection when they were little due to lack of immune system (common for hand reared buns who had no colostrum). Although this was fully treated, it has left her with some scarring in her throat and sinuses which causes her to occasionally sneeze once or twice especially if things are dusty. This doesn't affect his day-to-day life and he is perfectly happy and fit.

A NOTE ABOUT BABY BUNS:
At BBBB we spend a huge amount of time raising babies who are brought into us, including socialising and training. We do not let them go to new homes until they have been neutered, we do this young at around 10-12 weeks old and then we begin looking for matches for them.
While we can tell you a lot about their personality, a baby bunny does not have a set temperament until they are adults and this can change as they reach adulthood (approx 12 months old). If you are considering adding a baby/youngster into existing bonded rabbits, be aware that while this will initially be an easy bonding process, the rabbit will only find their way into the hierarchy and find a 'job' when they reach adulthood, this means it can be risky to add one in as they can fight to work their way up as they become adults. If someone is looking for a specific job role to be added into a group, we will only match them with an adult rabbit.
