Brier

NOW AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

About

Age: Born July 2022
Breed: Harlequin Lop Mix
Size: Will be medium once fully grown

I'm the little cuddler of the crowd, I am the first to come running to see my humans and ask for unlimited floor snuggles and head rubs until I fall asleep purring. I love human touch and contact and am very confident with people and new environments. I get annoyed by my annoying little brother Balsam and his cheeky ways, so I mostly spend time with my sisters. My ears are a bit wonky, they haven't yet decided what they want to do so I get nicknamed "helicopter".

I was hand reared by the rescue along with my other siblings and I am now the biggest of them all.
I am young and still learning!

Home Criteria

  • Brier would love an indoor home, he likes to free roam and snuggle on the couch and explore the house. He does enjoy his garden time and wherever he can get lots of company.
  • He can live in a home with children.
  • He can live in a home with dogs.

Special Requirements

No special requirements.
Brier along with some of his other siblings had a respiratory infection when they were little due to lack of immune system (common for hand reared buns who had no colostrum). Although this was fully treated, it has left him with some scarring in his throat and sinuses which causes him to occasionally sneeze once or twice if he shoves his head in the hay. This doesn't affect his day-to-day life and he is perfectly happy and fit.

A NOTE ABOUT BABY BUNS:

At BBBB we spend a huge amount of time raising babies who are brought into us, including socialising and training. We do not let them go to new homes until they have been neutered, we do this young at around 10-12 weeks old and then we begin looking for matches for them.

While we can tell you a lot about their personality, a baby bunny does not have a set temperament until they are adults and this can change as they reach adulthood (approx 12 months old). If you are considering adding a baby/youngster into existing bonded rabbits, be aware that while this will initially be an easy bonding process, the rabbit will only find their way into the hierarchy and find a 'job' when they reach adulthood, this means it can be risky to add one in as they can fight to work their way up as they become adults. If someone is looking for a specific job role to be added into a group, we will only match them with an adult rabbit.
