Bicker & Banter
About
Gender: Male & Female
Breed: Mixed Lop & Holland Lop
Size: Small
Age: 2 & 3 years
All good relationships involve bickering and bantering, and this perfect little pair are no different. This perfect 'husbun and bunwife' duo work as a harmonious little team to charm all they meet. Bicker may nag the ears off Banter, but he always knows how to make her smile and you'll find the two of them snuggled up together smooching their night away on their favourite spot - their little doll bed.
Bunwife Bicker is the boss (no surprise there!), with her calm, confidence and bolshy nature. She isn't easily phased and knows what she likes and what she doesn't. She is affectionate and loves head rubs, and also loves to groom her little husbun to keep him in tiptop shape. Bicker loves destroying willow balls, throwing her stacking cups and making demands.
Husbun Banter may pretend to initially be shy, but beware he is reporting everything he hears and sees back to his supervisor bunwife. He often comes running to see what you've got, like most boys - food is the way to his heart and he is always sniffing out if a treat is coming his way. As he is the ears of the operation, Bicker usually wakes up after he's gone and runs to butt him out the way to get what belongs to her. Banter loves his snuffle mat, puzzle toys and playing footie with his treat ball.
These two are simply adorable and fun to spend time with, Bicker is a loveable lazy loaf and Banter is a cheeky charming little lad who loves to play games. We've been teaching Banter some fun little tricks to keep him entertained and he is loving it!
While these two have a great partnership, they are equally happy to open up their marriage to having an extra buddy (how 21st century bunnies!) They both have a different set of skills and are great hay eaters, so if there is another little bun needing a few floppy eared friends - these two would be very socialable to that arrangement.

Home Criteria
This pair would be a great addition to a home with someone looking to have bunnies in their life again. They would be happiest as indoor house buns, however Banter does enjoy pottering out in the garden when its sunny so if you have a little patio area, bonus points for him! They can be puppy penned in unlike most other pairs, and are content and happy to be left if you work shifts.
Bicker is fine around children (she can be bossy however!) but Banter is naturally shy around noisy children and doesn't like busy environments. He prefers to build a close connection with an adult/couple who like cosy movie nights after work. We are looking for a home with no young children under 11 for Banter.

Special Requirements
Both are young and in good health however being lops, they both require regular exotic vet visits to keep an eye on any ear and teeth issues developing. We strongly recommend insuring this pair.
Both are excellent hay eaters so lots of good hay is a must. Bicker also requires a lot of grooming as she has a plush coat type like all mini lops which are a high maintenance breed.
