Bavencio
About
Age: 1 year
Breed: Mini Lop
Size: Dwarf
Bavencio is our little misunderstood chocolate drop who has had a difficult start to life. He has been through a journey at the rescue with our Behaviourist working one to one with him to learn trust, building his food motivation and target training.
This fluffy little friend is absolutely gorgeous and has a loving, kind soul. He is very wary of new people but desperately loves and wants the company of another bunny (or two or three!). He is more scared of you than you could ever be of him! He will avoid conflict by taking himself off and hiding while you clean his space but if you are patient with him and talk to him, he will come and see you and is now happy eating out of your hand and happily being stroked.
He has a ton of energy and loves jumping up high and running around wiggling his bum. Despite his insecurities, he loves to be nosy and explore and is super curious. He is extremely tidy and immaculate in all his activities, even making a little nest out of his hay and keeping it perfect. He doesn't like to chew or dig, instead likes his snuffle mat and munching at hay which is his favourite activity. He would be great at teaching another bunny to eat more hay, if they can look after him.
He would be an easy little bun to bond with an existing pair who are confident and he would bring a playful energy and lots of hay eating to the table. He just needs a patient, experienced person to encourage him and not expect too much of him. We know he will thrive and shine in the right home with bun friends around him. He could also be adopted with Barcode as a pair (bonding would be done FOC by the rescue).
