Battleship

NOW AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

About

Age: born 19th May 2022
Breed: Havana x Lionhead
Size: Will be medium once fully grown
Battleship came to us with his brothers at two weeks old with their mamma. Since then, he has grown up into the most amazing boy with a huge personality.

Baby Battleship was always the little adventurer, always first to find the exit and tiny places to squeeze into. He loved to nibble and dig and do all things baby bunny, including rolling over 360 with tiny paws in the air. He was the smart one who worked things out quickest and was the one who would fall asleep in our lap curled up while we stroked him as a baby.

As a teenager, he is bold, brave and so aware. He is the first to climb up your legs and back for kisses and cuddles and loves to get right in your face. He is a sooky boy who adores head rubs and strokes all over. Just be careful when food is around, he may take your hand off, he is our little food shark!

He will make a great leader for another bun, especially a shy/anxious one. He is the bun many others need, and many others wish they had to look after him. We know he will be an incredible adult bun!

Home Criteria

  • Battleship needs a ton of space and enrichment, he would be best in a garage/big outdoor set up. He loves to play outside in all weathers.
  • Because of how he is around food, we will not adopt him out to a home with children under 16.
  • He is super confident and great with dogs and cats so could live happily in a multi species home.

Special Requirements

None, he is a happy healthy bun!

A NOTE ABOUT BABY BUNS:

At BBBB we spend a huge amount of time raising babies who are brought into us, including socialising and training. We do not let them go to new homes until they have been neutered, we do this young at around 10-12 weeks old and then we begin looking for matches for them.

While we can tell you a lot about their personality, a baby bunny does not have a set temperament until they are adults and this can change as they reach adulthood (approx 12 months old). If you are considering adding a baby/youngster into existing bonded rabbits, be aware that while this will initially be an easy bonding process, the rabbit will only find their way into the hierarchy and find a 'job' when they reach adulthood, this means it can be risky to add one in as they can fight to work their way up as they become adults. If someone is looking for a specific job role to be added into a group, we will only match them with an adult rabbit.
