Adoption Advisor

Adoption advisors are imperative to be able to process and progress adoptions from initial application to taking home their new furry family members. This role will see you guide potential adopters on their adoption journey.

Adoption Advisors - ​CURRENTLY RECRUITING
This role is suited to someone who has experience in rabbit care and welfare and understands our ais and objectives as a rescue.
Location: This is a remote role and can be done from a PC in your own home
Skills required: 
  • An understanding of our aims and objectives as a rescue.
  • The ability and confidence to use software programmes including Whatsapp and Zoom as well as email.
  • Access to a working laptop/PC or tablet.
  • This is a role dealing with the public so any customer service experience will help as we
    expect our team to be professional and polite. However, this may require delivering advice that
    the potential adopter disagrees with or dislikes so there’s a requirement to be firm but tactful.
  • A strong desire to help rabbits and support the adopt don't shop ethos.
  • There can be an element of follow up and ongoing support for potential adopters so would
    suit someone organised and happy to build a bit of rapport.
Role involves:
  • Going through initial adoption team training which can take a few months to learn and shadow experienced members.
  • Reaching out to your allocated potential adopter to arrange remote home visit.
  • Communicating with your adopter until their adoption and offering advice and support.
  • Completing home visit report and sending back to the adoption manager.
Time commitment:
Flexible role, from 4+ hours per month depending on available opportunities. Can be worked around your own schedule.
