Mini Lops (also known as Holland Lops) like many extreme breeds, struggle with excess cecotrophy. Managing this can be tricky, but we have created the perfect blend of 5 plants which can be fed daily.
This blend is purely plants and can be bulked out with one of our grasses to add even more fibre. It mixes perfectly with our Calming Herbal Blend!
Composition:
● Ribwort Plantain - high in fibre helping increase movement of the gastric tract
● Peppermint - its active ingredient, menthol, relaxes the muscles in the digestive tract
● Lemon Balm - contains terpenes which relax the muscles in the digestive tract, helping to relieve gas and bloating and improves nerve function of the gut
● Dill - antacid and carminative properties which also help prevent gas, it also has antispasmodic properties which help to relax the gut
● Marigold flowers - anti-inflammatory properties soothe irritation throughout the digestive tract
We recommend to feed approx 1/2 cup per rabbit (based on an average 2kg rabbit) daily. Ensure you mix the bag thoroughly to have a good mix of all 5 plants.
Suitable for all rabbits and guinea pigs.
