We adore the Natures Own Sweet Green orchard hay as an additional grass supplement for bunnies and piggies.
It is particularly great for rabbits who have no front incisors or struggle with stalky hay due to dental disease and need a soft leafy hay. Adding other types of grasses and hays to their diet is a great way to add variety and extra nutrients, as well as up their fibre intake.
Natures Own grow and harvest their hay on their Devon farm and a lot of love goes into their process! The orchard hay is a beautiful dark green dust extracted hay which is dried in the field for 2-3 days then moisture controlled in a barn, using a very gentle heat recycling treatment. This ensures the deep colour and sweetness are always at their best. You will notice the lovely smell as soon as you open the bag (so will your pets!).
