Foraging Class 1st July - Leafy & Greens
Come along on Saturday 1st July and enjoy an afternoon in the Lanarkshire countryside with other animal lovers and learn about foraging for your animals and what benefits there are to feeding plants as part of a wild natural diet.
This class is suited to a beginners level, although anyone of any level experience is welcome.
Walk along a nature trail in South Lanarkshire and learn about Spring time plants available at this time of year to forage for your animals. We will discuss how to identify the plant, where to find the plant, how to dry and store the plant safely and what benefits there are to feeding the plant.
A set of plant identification cards to take home.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Please bring a canvas cotton or linen bag, and garden scissors to collect forage.
A ticket is required for each person attending (1 ticket = 1 person).
Refund policy: tickets are non refundable but are transferable to another person.
