Bruichladdich and Benrinnes are our two remaining Whisky bunnies, part of a large family group of bunnies we took in as part of a welfare case. (find out more about their story on our instagram under "whisky bunnies"). They have grown up with us at the rescue and been nurtured and desensitized to everything.
As siblings, these two have been the only two of their family who were well fitted of their litter to stay together as a pair and Bruichladdich has been so caring to his little sister, guiding her and taking her under his wing. We made the decision to keep them together as a pair and would love to see them become someone's "babies" as they are the most friendly and snuggly litter of bunnies the rescue has ever had!
Both are very confident and outgoing bunnies, all of the Whisky bunnies have the most amazing social, outgoing and confident personalities! They would be really well suited to someone who wants "in your face" loveable pair of buns who want constant attention and interaction. They are both very touchy feely, love physical touch and being fussed on.
Bruichladdich, "AKA Maddie Laddie" , this classic dram is the real boss boy. First to go anywhere, nothing holds him back from exploring and he will be first to barge his way in. He is a real adventurer, taking on all heights and showing that mini lops 'can' jump! He is interested in everything and wants to know what's going on at all times. You will be chinned all over as he claims you as his own, as well as everything in his path. He loves head rubs, stokes and snuggles, so long as he can sit still for long enough and doesn't want to jump in your lap and climb your shoulder.
Bruichladdich is adored by all, his cheeky cheerful personality matches his dashing good looks. His siblings held him in high regard, always following and copying him. Whatever he is doing, his twin B won't be far behind him. He is a real lads lad and was ringleader of the litter.
Benrinnes, our dinky dot "Rinnie". The tiniest of the litter, she is the smallest and most gentle natured. This half measure is light and refreshing, and will melt in your heart.
Always waiting by the sidelines for a headrub, she will scramble in your wellies and up your leg for attention. She doesn't like being on her own and is everyone's shadow, copying what they get up to and following them around. When her big brother flops, so will she.

Home Criteria
This adorable pair would make any family complete! They are very social and confident and would thrive in a busy environment or one with other pets and children. They get along with everyone and love to be involved in everything that's going on.
Our whisky bunnies would be happy either indoors or outdoors, they are happy in both environments but they need to have a large amount of space. They cannot be puppy penned into a small pen or a small shed as they are very active and excitable. They have never been enclosed in a small space and will utilise all the space they are given. They are very trusted in the house to free roam and would make great free roam house buns.
*They will not be approved to live in anything less than 10x6ft

Special Requirements
These buns are EC positive rabbits. Bruichladdich is negative but exposed and Benrinnes has had EC when she was a baby which left her with a tiny head tilt. A general understanding and awareness of EC is helpful but this is something the rescue can teach you.
Mini Lops are a high maintenance breed & require regular ear and dental checks and being registered with a rabbit savvy / exotic vet - please see our mini lop care guide for more information
