Brillo

About

Age: 4 years
Breed: Netherland Dwarf x Lionhead
Size: Dwarf (tiny!)
Gender: Female

Brillo Pad, our little dot with the dots! She is tiny and stole our hearts from the moment we met her. As she hopped out the carrier we said "are you sure she's not a baby?" due to her dot like size. She has all the size of a nethie but none of the attitude or sass, she really is just a sweetheart through and through.

She loves her water hyacinth braids and playing with her stacking cups, everything she does is so dainty and delicate even when she tries to thump it's just utterly adorable! She loves head rubs but you'll only need to use one finger and she will happily purr away.

This little darling came to us due to the loss of her companion which has left her totally sad and lost. It breaks our hearts watching her groom and snuggle her teddy all day, even nuzzling under it. She craves that affection, contact and love as she is extremely affectionate with other rabbits. As a very lower hierarchal rabbit, she seeks protection and needs leadership, and in return she will give her heart on her sleeve. She would make a great bottom bun for a trio, or a mediator in a large group, or just a companion for another bun who will look out for her and like to be groomed by her.

Due to her spine, we will be careful about her bonding and match and will not want her to be with a rabbit whose primary communication is humping (nor any rabbits with hormonal triggers).

Home Criteria

Brillo would be an ideal bun for someone wanting an easy going bun to "potter" around the house, or be penned in with an older/special needs bunny. She is very laid back and content even when restricted to a puppy pen and likes to tinker around with her toys and take naps in her litter tray.

She loves other animals and isn't shy or nervous around children either, however we would only be willing to place her in a home with older more rabbit savvy children over 10 / teens due to how little and fragile she is.

Special Requirements

Brillo has a spinal condition called Kyphosis (this appears like a hunchback and she has restricted mobility in her spine), this affects her mobility as she puts more weight on one leg and one leg slightly splays to the side. It doesn't stop her getting around and she has such a spark for life and adventure! However this needs to be taken into account when matching her with a companion.
