Brakes may have slowed down as he has gotten older but he isn't ready to halt the brakes anytime soon! This calm, confident and loving boy is now looking for a retirement home. He is a gentle, confident and placid bun who is super easy to get along with and has a determined attitude to life. Nothing holds him back and he still does his nightly zoomies and loves adventures out into the garden. As he has gotten older he has become appreciative of head rubs and now loves to pancake down for his pamper sessions. This boy will always be waiting at the door for your arrival and welcomes you with happy hoppy dances round your feet.

Brakes has had many husbuns and bunwives in his time and would make a great partner for a fellow senior bun or as a companion for a pair or group who would like to be nurtured. Brakes is a team player with his companions and still has a lot of leadership and social skills. He likes to provide confidence and guide other rabbits in a kind and loving way. Other rabbits tend to look up to him and follow him, appreciating his calm directive manner and tolerant, gentle spirit. 

​Home Criteria

Brakes would fit into the majority of homes as he is calm and confident in most surroundings. He loves people and other animals and gets on with everyone! He can live indoors or outdoors, have access to a garden or live in an apartment. He is easy going and doesn't mind being puppy penned in, but is equally trusted to free roam.

Health

Brakes is in great health for his age and is still very mobile and active. He has had active EC when he was younger however hasn't had any flare ups for many years (despite lots of upheaval!) so will need to be in an EC positive household.
