Baudelaire

RESERVED

About

Gender: Female
Breed: French Lop
Age: 11 months
Size: Giant (over 5kg)

Baudelaire is a big love bug who wants a human to give in to her every desire. Her desires include:
Head rubs, not just for five minutes but for hours, right under the chin, right around her ears, face and lots of kisses on her forehead too. She also requires a big snuggly rug to flop on as much as she wants throughout the day as flopping is one of her favourite activities. She likes to wrap her paws around your neck to tell you she adores you and rub her cheeks on yours, cuddles come first even before food. Then food! She does also love her grub, and boy does she eat a lot of it!

This big girl will be your best friend, she will always be there for you so long as you are there for her. Welcoming this big girl into your heart and home isn't all about the cuddles, it is a tremendous responsibility. Why? Because with her sheer size, comes sheer strength and the need for a lot of space. Giants are a force to be reckoned with and not for the average person to live with.

Home Criteria

  • She must have FREE ROAM indoors somewhere that is bunny proofed or in a big garage space. She does like to play outdoors but likes a lot of attention and could not be confined to anything less than 12ft in size.
  • She gets on very well with dogs, happily flopping and snuggling with dogs so homes with 'bunny friendly doggos' are welcomed by her.
  • She loves all sizes and ages of humans however care should be taken around young children due to her size and strength, young children should be taught how to interact with her safely on the floor and never attempt to lift her.
  • Experience with giant rabbits would be desired, however not essential. You must be prepared to adapt your home for her and bunny proof giant edition (she can stretch and she can jump!).

Special Requirements

She is a happy, healthy young girl however is still growing and this breed is very high maintenance so understanding more about them is important. Read about French Lop care here.
